Risikobewertung

Was jeder selber tun kann

Fazit

Risk assessment

As the organizer, we also have to deal with the potential dangers for our event and its visitors and this is mainly the spread of the Covid-19 virus these days.

Last Update: 10.03.2020

Covid-19

We are currently monitoring the situation closely and are in contact with the authorities of the city of Braunschweig.
According to the city of Braunschweig (10.03.2020), there is currently no reason to cancel the event due to the number of visitors and the participants who are not arriving from risk areas.

What action will we take?

  • We will raise awareness about the topic of hygiene (washing hands, sneezing hygiene, etc.)
  • As with the well-known influenza, one of the most important preventive measures is the simple but thorough hand washing with normal soap
  • The sanitary facilities are checked and disinfected by us more often than normal
  • Our staff at the cash register and counters will come into contact with a great number of people and money and will therefore be equipped with hand disinfectants
  • We will treat the surfaces (counters, door handles, standing tables, etc.) regularly with surface disinfection
  • Even if it should go without saying, we ask that ill visitors refrain from visiting the trade fair in order not to infect other visitors
  • We will coordinate these measures with the health department

What everyone can do themselves

  • Avoid shaking hands and hugs
  • Frequent hand washing
  • Bring your own dice if you want to take part in demo rounds
  • Bring your own cups, mugs and spoons
  • Personal hygiene measures for coughing and sneezing: https://www.infektionsschutz.de/hygienetipps/hygiene-beim-husten-und-niesen/

Conclusion

Of course, this is only a conclusion at the current time.

The Red Lion Games Convention is currently taking place as planned.

At this point, we wish all those affected by the Covid-19 a speedy recovery and, for the future, the best possible containment of the spread of the virus.
